Country stars all around are mourning the death of Country Queen, Kitty Wells, through Tweets according to Taste of Country.
Complications from a recent stroke ended The Queen of Country's life on Monday.
Wells was the first female country singer the mostly male-dominated industry respected and paid attention to. She also was one to raise some controversy.
Her 1952 hit 'It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels' was a fiesty reply to Hank Thompson's 'Wild Side of Life.' The song was banned for a short time at NBC radio and the Grand Ole Opry, but eventually became the first song from a female artist to top the charts.

RIP Kitty Wells. It looks like we have another Honky Tonk Angel looking over us.
